A stone’s throw from Macalester College, this residence once served as student housing. The project began with the ceremonial removal of an ancient Macalester sauna, as well as other strange relics: a neon concrete floor tile and a .45 caliber bullet! We used existing plumbing hookups to create a guest bathroom complete with tiled walk-in shower, and divided the remaining space into a bedroom and rec-space for students of a different age group.
