The complete remodel of upper levels of this stately Summit Avenue home included removing a portion of the ceiling between the third floor and attic to create an airy, vaulted space. The new space includes a child’s play loft, accessible only by ladder, as well as home office, entertainment and beverage areas. Shelter Architecture’s design also also upgraded the storage capacity of the hall closets and added a library in an adjacent room.
