A cramped and poorly designed kitchen interrupted the flow between living room and dining room in this 80’s rambler near Lake Johanna. By removing an underutilized fireplace and two partition walls we were able to invert the kitchen and living room to create a light-filled, contemporary kitchen that flows seamlessly into the dining area. A mudroom complete with laundry and a powder bath round out the project.
